Wiggly. :rolleyes::rolleyes:

=================

Hi all ..

This boat was first spotted by Happy Dude, who managed to get a couple of quick shots of her when she was berthed up in Edinburgh earlier this year.

I managed to get a look around her as she paid a flying visit to the Fowey estuary in Cornwall UK, on the final leg of her European tour.

-------------------------------------------

With her sleek hull lines, and her massive power, the EarthRace will make any red-blooded male stop and stare. This has got to be one of the most beautiful powerboats ever built.

Her massive engines are designed to run on BioDiesel, which is derived from raw, and recycled, vegetable oil.(Chip Shop Waste !!)

Unlike convential hull designs which ride up and over a wave, the hull of the EarthRace is designed to cut through and under a wave. Thus practically eliminating the stresses that can cause hull, and crew, damage.

It has been reported that, whilst on speed trial, there were occasions when there was 15ft of water ON TOP of the windscreen !!

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzz ....... :blink::blink::blink::blink:

It's an evolution of the military 'very slender craft' concept where the hull is designed to cut through the waves instead of going up and down over them, much like the seacat/condor ferries. I find this more exciting though:-

Unbearable, isn't it? The suffering of strangers, the agony of friends. There is a secret song at the center of the world, and its sound is like razors through flesh.
