I'm on Firefox 2.0.0.8, no problems here.

Typical of an adware/spyware/crapware infestation.

http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ and download the free version of Ad-Aware, update it, then run it.

http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/ and download the free version of Spybot, update it, then run it.

They are both good but each finds a few things the other misses plus Spybot has some additional protection tools.

Newt,

Thanks for the info, but I have Ad-Aware and Spybot.

I have pinned this down to the Cambridge-News website but I only get it on my laptop?? The desktop doesn't have the same problem??

I'll keep you posted.
