I think NZ will win, although I will be cheering for Australia. I have visited Aus twelve times, but NZ only once, and Norma has a lot of rellies in Aus. Added to which, I admire the more open style of Aus. but I think Kiwi muscle will prevail.

 

It has all gone very close to pre-tournament prediction - although my own prediction was Ireland, SA, NZ and Australia to make the semis. England did their best, but were over-hyped in the media, and not really up to scratch.

 

I must express admiration for the Polynesian teams getting into the top twenty - not only are their resources spread between three teams (Samoa, Fiji, Tonga) but their twelve best players play for someone else !

Yes I'm hoping for an aussie win too. I fear NZ may prevail however.

Should be a cracker. I feel for Wales,their crippling injuries may have cost them at least a semi-final place and Warren Gatland deserves huge praise for helping welsh rugby so much.

Stuart Lancaster has been a tad disappointing.

Hope that Cheika has put enough confidence into the Australian team...Over the past 6-8, or so years, the Australian team only consisted of 8 'boof'eads' bogging down in most of their games; there was so little feed to the running backs.

 

I remember a commentator remarking that one of the Australian pack 'made a magnificent 1.5 metres!'
