It's a long time since I wore a poppy. I've always put money in the collection tin, but I leave the receipt in the box.

After the snub made to the Merchant Navy Veterans at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance parade yesterday from now on I'll not even be putting a £1 coin in the box.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

Na, he is not leadership material, that's for sure.

 

I agree Barry, but based on his policies, not on some media led pathetic, childish campaign based on trivia.

Included here is his own guys criticising his policy among others. Next Wednesday he will also be out of place with his nationalistic views when he either breaks with his ethos and bows, kneels and scrapes in front of the monarch or doesn't bother. Prescott didn't stay long in the privy council, perhaps it's not for the socialists to advise our queen.
