Was thinking of getting one of these after xmas but would like to know if anyone has got there paws on one so they can tell me if there any good or not. ;)

:lol: I'm using one at the moment, well built, casts and retrieves well, will let you know how it handles a big cod after I've caught one. :lol:

i flogged my 7HT on ebay for £42! cast well but mind bogglingly slow bringing everything back in ,cant see why they're not all twin geared ,high retrieve for bringing back the terminal tackle without a fish on as 99% of my retrieves were testing it

I've been using a 7HT for about 18 yrs now, and I wouldn't be without one. I've just bought 2 7HT Mags, and find the reels absolutely outstanding.

Don't have any doubts about these reels, ujust buy one and ENJOY !!!
