Hi all ..

 

I have this annoying popup that I cannot seem to get rid of. :wallbash:

 

It is "DCADS" advertising mobile phones and other things, and pops up frequently when I'm on the net. It also sometimes "crashes" FireFox, causing a message "Fire has encounted problems and has to shut down". I then get "Return to previous session or start new session ?".

 

Have tried Delete programme, Search for DCADS, AdAware and SpyBot ... no luck.

 

Anyone know how I can kill the b*gger ? :D

If you're being chased by a police dog, try not to go through a tunnel, then on to a little seesaw, then jump through a hoop of fire. They're trained for that.

Who are advertising on this system. If they are companies with UK business write to them offering the continued use of your computer equipment for advertising purposes at a rate of £100 a day. Tell them that if they don't want to make use of this offer they must send someone round to remove the software. Then start sending them official looking invoices at the end of every week from Wiggly Promotional Services or some such likely sounding name. If you are lucky some pillock in finance might pay you and they won't have a leg to stand on when they find out!
