A great days perching

I wish I could just take time off when the weathers right but with the new system we are on at work I have to book weeks in advance and just hope the weather is OK.

 

I just love perch, I have been spending a bit more time after them this winter but still yet to find the big ones in our local lake. The cats have probably eaten them

 

Great fish, worth the wait. Well done. I really must get my KK on the go next time I'm out.

Well done Jigotai. After the missed bites I'd have been rather nervous (how many times have I looked round to see the float coming back up ) , but what a marvellous result.

That's exactly it, and it's something AN is really good for. This trip was a thank you to Jigotai for taking me barbel fishing last year (story here: http://www.anglersnet.co.uk/forums/Quest-b...est+for+barbel) when all my local rivers were trashed by the flooding. It was a real pleasure to be able to return the favour
