The pond i bailiff is down a long track but the EA yellowcoats visit a couple of times a year ,they caught an old guy one year (most of the anglers are retired down there ) he said he forgot ,he may have or just thought he could avoid paying.

An old permit was offered today ,i pointed it out ,ofcourse it was a "mistake" it could have been but maybe not ,nothing wrong with chancing your arm if your prepared to take the consequences, he got told not to do it again i doubt he will i have a notebook and know how to use it!

Norma usually buys No 3 son's licence as a birthday present.

 

Your problems are trivial compared to hers, as once Norma has bought her own licence, it is almost impossible to tell the system she is buying the

second licence for someone else ! It keeps trying to be "helpful", and "correcting" the second licence holder''s name and address.

 

FFS - there are thousands of on-line websites that realise that the purchaser and the recipient are sometimes two different people. It is only government bodies that can't grasp that (or can't program the logic)
