I always find it grossly unfair to some ,if say bike racing only two complete legged athletes competed in each race it would be fair but i think some have false legs which may hinder (or help?) some .

Same for swimming i guess a two armed swimmer with one leg most of the time would beat a swimmer with less of an arm and two legs,perhaps its adjusted i dont understand how it works

Wheelchair athletes i guess would be on a pretty level playing field if the legs were the disability ,in some i cannot see any visible handicap and in a physical competition its an advantage some are blind i know but some perhaps have more subtle problems that may not hinder a physical effort or are sporadic ,IE an epileptic person is only hindered when they are having a fit the rest of the time they are physically normal

 

Mind you in uk circles some blue badge users are far fitter than 'normal' people ,one at the pond carried a lot more kit at once than i could but certainly wasnt visually impaired (pole fished) and the blue badge certainly couldnt have been awarded going by his mobility!

We might spot "our" cyclist who passes through the village often ,no legs so uses her arms so i presume she is in races only for arm powered cyclists?

I guess the problem is down to interpretation of "some" or "partial" ,i guess if you get to restrictive perhaps a one eyed 3 left toed and 4 right fingers would always get gold as he was the only competitor matching the class

You also have to take into stock how many athletes we have sent ,malta for instance cannot top the table theres just one maltese competitor ,china america and the uk sent the most athletes not forgetting russia is banned so the more you send the more chances you get

At least they win off their own effort and theres little of this uk crap of no losers we are told thats going on in schools
