More likely, Lead poisoning in the .22 form hopefully!!

We are only allowed to shoot 4 Cormorants a year at Kippax park lakes. (Officially)

Not to be confused with a Shag (which about the same in occurrence these days 👨‍🦽)

Hi ,nice to see your still about. Not seen a corm for a couple of years! the ones in the dead tree by my sons horsefield and the gulp that used to fly over the house going to frensham or stockbridge ponds not seen for a couple of years ! Perhaps covid got them

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

I saw a mention of a certain species had been all but wiped out by bird flu in South Africa.

I only see them when there is a strong westerly wind that makes my place less strenuous for them to get to instead of The Fleet.

Its weird how things are here ,the river was infested with them and now theres none ,theres few fish either so thats probably why.

The interesting thing though is we as a nation dont eat freshwater fish or rather we dont eat in hundreds? Thousands? of tons we have in the past before the railways arrived and sea fish became the main stay ,we have supposedly 'clean' water but our stocks have vastly depleted .

Yet in in the east of europe where they still eat freshwater fish ,have no concerns of looking after their rivers etc fish thrive in huge numbers !

The difference being they dont have the angling trust and the EA running the show ,coincidence?

I think the Angling Trust have ideas about taking on the work of the EA. I know one chap who said he was going on an Angling Trust bailiff course.
