Price = Performance??????

One of the points I was trying to make is that if you give mr 'average' angler a rod - for example the Suveran - he may be able to cast it 100yrds. However you give him ( say ) a ZZiplex he may be able to cast this further using the same style - so the extra money in his eyes is well spent.

For casting distance many times its the choice of rod rather than the price, i have picked up many so called inferior rods, and cast a very good distance.

 

The same rules apply if you cant bend it you wont cast it!!!!!
