I,ve been twice, with a few years in between each visit.

I have been disappointed on both occassions.

Some "stalls" demonstrate and display innovative things, that they are not allowed to sell you. :(

You visit "Tackle Row" and pay higher prices than your local tackle shop, for identical goods. :(

Or, you buy a very cheap "bargain" umbrella, landing net, etc. only for it to fall apart, break, or in some other way malfunction.

You have never heard of the manufacturer(usually Korean) on the label (if its even got a label) and you won,t be seeing that stallholder for another year.

It takes about 10 minutes to see the interesting things, the catering is poor, the "talks and demonstrations" are rarely worth watching, even IF you can hear whats being said. :(

Will I be going this year ?............NO

If I want to waste another day of my life, I can find a much cheaper way to do it. :)

I totally agree what a waste of time and money. I have been twice and will never go again. The second time I went I was only there an hour. That's how good it is. Luckily I only live about 25 miles from the NEC so didn't have far to go

I have been EVERY year since it started, and

each time I have sworn never to return.

Well, after last year I really mean it!

Last year was particularly poor, and I actually

spent longer travelling there and back than I

did inside!! If any of you decide to make the

journey, then I strongly urge you not to buy

one of the napalm burgers from the "fast food"

outlet indoors. One bite and it will take your

face off!

Inside every old person is a young one wondering what the hell happened!
