hey uptiding. i love it. i use slosh 20 slosh 30. i sometimes even use my 6500.

 

where do u uptide ? and what for?

 

got any little tips for me?

i also use my 7500. depending on depth of water and fish type im sure youll get away with most reels.

we only uptide for cod here though. and our tide flow aint so great. cousin had a cod near 30 pound last winter half a mile from the shore.

 

i once causght a seal too. what a fight. starnge thing was i got the fish back totally unmarked

I have an old but great condition Mitchell 602ap, i have never used it on a boat and i have the stainless steel reel with it, anyone used this reel?

 

i like to fish light, how about an abu 6500 reel?

i'm not after conger but pollack, bass, turbot etc.

The reel should be capable of handling the fish you expect to catch and a suitable amount of the appropriate bs line.

Thats about it.

I have uptided with Shimano 4500 baitrunner, Abu 5500, Abu 6500, Abu 7000.
