So, VAT is to be reduced, but the duty on fuel increased to 'compensate' for it and National Insurance to increase, too.

Is there any incentive to actually work in this country any more? I swear I'd be better off on benefits.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Now he's Prime Minister, it seems as if Brown has ended his love affair with 'prudence'.

So much for his 'end to boom and bust' economics.

Sadly, the alternatives seem strangely unappealing, too; their principle saving grace being that they aren't this lot.

I'd vote for Alexei Sayle, but anarchists by their very definition can't organise themselve to run anything.

Yes, and the VAT reduction is temporary - I bet he doesn't cut the duty when VAT goes back up in 13 months.

and National Insurance to increase, too.

Coming on top of the 1% increase across the board, payable on ALL income above the minimum, and the increase in the upper threshold for paying the 11% rate from from £34,840 to £40,040 last year.

Let's be honest here, it was the bl**dy banks which got us in this mess and so called global trade, I want the banks to cut their charges, we have to pay to bank cash, cheques and card payments plus we have to pay for the card machine.

Looking at it overal after all the bl**dy money that was thrown at the banks we are lucky to get the crumbs.

I fish, I catches a few, I lose a few, BUT I enjoys. Anglers Trust PM

Ta-da!!

With all the unpredictability of Christmas Day falling on Dec 25...

No, the increase in duty meant to stop us getting any benefit from reduced VAT on petrol will not be removed when the VAT goes back up, and in fact an extra two pence per litre was added in September and will be followed by another penny in April 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.

Your right there Ken, the banks have alot to answer for in my opinion.

The amount of our money that has been ploughed into them works out at £5500 per family !!!!

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbys...per-family.html

Then there's the bonuses that are being paid to those that run these banks. More than 5000 bankers will earn at least £1million this year !

Smacks of self-interest and greed and i have just been told that i will not be getting my annual pay rise next year !

Sorry rant over.

I need to go fishing.
