Carp catching at great numbers post spawning with regular disabled angler Ian Dixon having a fantastic day with 54 carp all on waggler and tip smallest was 2lb and largest 7lb ghostie all on luncheon meat cubes on Lookout peg 34 together with a mixed bag of silvers and tench. Ian targets larger fish by presenting larger bait fishing tight in the margins and trickle feeding angel feed pellets.
Jimmy Hagan on peg 33 had a great Saturday fishing paste in the margins and took over 50 fish mainly carp.
Chris Pine on peg 25 had a fabulous Ghost Carp at 6lb plus.
Bream to 5lb 8oz  and skimmers
Tench feeding well post spawning and some excellent rudd and golden rudd to 1.5lb being taken.  Roach and Ide also feeding well. Perch taken worm and maggot to good numbers.
Pegs 33, 3, 16aa, 21 and 10 being very productive.

Some good sized carp coming out this week with persistence paying of for Paul Wood from forest hall getting a cracking female 21lb 4oz a common carp post spawning so at her lightest weight of the year.
Another Paul, this time Paul Heptinstall Jnr had a PB of a Common female at 19lb 10oz taken on double sweetcorn hair rigged of the island. Peg 14
 
Colin Thompson fishing pole had several cracking days targeting smaller carp with his son on the tip towards the island and every cast the tip swinging away with a fish on it.
 
Jimmy Hagan on pole with paste has had some excellent fishing trips, fishing in the margins and out at 8 meters . Also fishing margins on worm feeding maggot some Jim took excellent numbers of carp 34 in total, one which bottomed out the elastic and just went towards the sanctuary, spitting the hook.
Good pegs 1, 40, 19 also 14 for lumps, peg 16 and 36.
 
Bassetts
 
Some cracking numbers coming out on maggots, with maggots drip fed tight in margins, pellets producing some larger carp and ide and skimmers taking sweetcorn. Tench and golden tench feeding well post spawning. Sweetcorn also doing the business.
 
Coaching is still very much in demand both adults and Juniors, and the juniors now joining the junior club which has moved to a Saturday morning through Autumn winter, with coaches helping to develop skills onwards.

Now Day time through Autumn Winter :- Saturday on Bowes and Sunday on Lookout
Night matches will resume in April.
 
Charity Match is on Sept 30th on Lookout Lake phone to put names down.
