Or just fancy a discounted carp fishing holiday?!!

PRESS RELEASE FROM
ANGLING LINES

Want to combine a carp fishing holiday with seeing the Tour de France?

This year, the Tour de France is coming incredibly close to one of the Angling Lines venues, Notaire’s and Alder Lake.  On Saturday 9th July, 2011, the riders are going from Aigurande in Creuse to Super-Besse. Here’s the page on the official Tour de France website about it:

http://www.letour.fr/2011/TDF/COURSE/us/800/etape_par_etape.html#zone1

The exact route hasn’t been finalised yet but we know it goes through the local town of Boussac at approximately 1.30pm. There are only a few ways to get from Aigurande to Boussac, and none of them are far from the venue.

The owners are enthusiastic cyclists themselves and are offering a €100 discount for anyone who books 2 weeks covering the Tour weekend.

You’ll be getting to stay at the comfortable gite set in 75 acres (complete with llamas, alpacas and plenty of other animals) and with two well-stocked lakes to fish in. It really is an opportunity not to be missed to see the Tour go by. We’re told it’s an amazing experience… maybe not quite as exciting as beating your personal best, but pretty darn close!
