News release from Cob House Fishery

Jim Burton has got an exciting new series of match planned at Cob House Fishery in Worcestershire, where anglers can win a host of goodies from Chinese bait giant, Old Ghost. Taking place on Thursdays, the matches will run on the 11th, 18th and 25th October, 2012.

Each match will involve three ‘mini’ matches, in one day, with different stipulations for each. In between the three matches, there will be lunch in the on site restaurant, and a demonstration of Chinese style paste fishing.

Jim told us:
“I am really excited about these three dates, and it will be great to get as many anglers as possible down to Cob House, whether it be taking part or just watching the match and the paste fishing demonstration by Old Ghost boss, Mr Yi.

“The matches will be run in a slightly different format to normal, with anglers fishing three different pegs for a one and a half hour spell, with stipulations applying each time- but its not as complicated as it sounds.

Old Ghost will also be generously donating prizes for anglers to win, and with the press attending at least two of the three dates, there may be a chance for you to get your picture in the paper too!”

With the event taking place at the prolific Cob House fisheries, big weights are expected on each of the three dates. For more information ring Jim on: 0121 6240336, or  try his mobile on 07759284554.
