PartyPoker.com Fish ‘O’ Mania Qualifier

Surrey angler Mark Tullet won the latest PartyPoker.com Fish ‘O’ Mania qualifier fished on Saturday 2nd May 2009, with 96lb of Carp. A member of Surrey Starlets and an engineer by profession, Marks biggest Carp was 6lb. He drew permanent peg “Tanners 18” and fished the long pole to his left into a corner and baited up with Andy Blue 8mm pellets. Mark lost a few fish on the day as did most anglers.

The conditions on the day were ideal. It was dry and sunny with a ripple on the water and the result was a close run thing. All through the day the predictions were changing from one peg to another and up to the final whistle it could have gone either way between 7 anglers only separated by 4 or 5 fish and it was not until the weigh-in that it was decided.
