My sentiments exactly, The lads down there have put in a hell of a lot of hard work over the winter,dropping the levels and clearing/improving the lakes ,as well as an extensive restocking,only to have it all undone by some mindless moron. Trouble is,can you blame the farmer?

BUS LANES, Why don't people read the signs to see when they are active/inactive.Last thursday i was driving north over Chelsea Bridge when i was waved into the entrance of Battersea Park by two of our finest boys in blue. Lo and behold there are loads of them writing out tickets willy nilly. "Are you aware that you were driving in a bus lane sir" :mad: "Yes officer,what's the problem?" :confused: "i'm afraid i will be issuing you with a fixed penalty notice sir." :mad: :confused: "I think not,would you care to walk down the road,and read the sign officer,you will see that the bus lane only operates from 7.30am to 10 am and as it is now a quarter to twelve i'm perfectly entitled to drive in it." Cue six coppers walking down the road to read the sign,followed by profuse apologies for delaying me and "have a nice day sir" Don't ya just love it! Peter. :cool:
