  14. heres the reply from oftel ,looks like a case of lump it or like it Our Ref: CR/536792 Dear Mr D Granger Thank you for your recent email dated 6 October 2002 regarding BT Openworld and the new limits on their Anytime and Surftime packages. We have noted your comments and we appreciate that you are concerned about these changes, which introduce new useage limits of 120 hours per month on Surftime and 150 hours per month on Anytime. We have made a registration of your complaint. Oftel has already been made aware of the changes to the terms and conditions that BT Openworld are making to their services and we have seen the text of a letter that BT Openworld has sent out to its customers. These changes come into effect on 1 November 2002 follow on from those ones effected from 5 June 2002, when BT Openworld reduced its daily internet use limit for Anytime and SurfTime customers from 16 to 12 hours out of any 24 hour period. Oftel understands that the reason why BT Openworld has taken these actions is to maintain quality of service to the majority of customers who do not log onto the service for such long durations. BT Openworld's contract allows it to make such changes so long as it gives its customers sufficient notice and allows them the option of terminating the agreement if they are unhappy about the changes in those terms. Oftel has no powers to require BT Openworld to maintain the existing arrangements for daily use of the Internet. 20. with nortons you can allow cookies by default to certain sites you use a lot ,but it can warn you whilst on that site of any others ,even using THIS site a cookie from "skrinkle" was detected and stopped
  21. take a look at parked motorcycles i have seen many with the tyres on the wrong way round ,most have the rotation arrow on but some dont ,anyone replacing a tyre after a puncture (although most are tubeless) can increase the danger of coming of by forcing the water to the centre of the tyre by having it on backwards by mistake
  22. i would think an offroad course would be far more benificial ,it would certainly improve your ballance and the greatist help would be looking ahead for hazards ,a race course is deliberatly made safe for the riders so a higher speed can be attained ,apreciating hazards and anticipating what other road users are up to are far better than seeing how fast you can go had a go on brother inlaws ninja ,frightened the pants of me ,VERY easy to go fast before you could look down it was at 70 in second alright on a nice dual carraigeway but not on surreys minor roads,i stick to my honda because it doesnt go fast and i like going fast and have the court summonses to prove it  so i`l save my money and stick to my put-put balance also depends on the bike design and the driver sitting position ,i have had the pleasure of owning several lambretta scooters (told you i have ridden lots of machines) these because of the engine layout were a hazard on cornering but a zundapp scooter was a great improvement as the engine was mid mounted .is your son of average build and weight as these effect the cornering ,the rear shocks may be too hard / soft for his build? 24. the scads may have spotted the prey and came up to join in ,i have noticed if you bring a fish to the surface too fast it cannot dive (i suppose its swim bladder gets effected) and they take a minuet or so to dive (if the seagulls dont get them) also their eyes blow up like little balloons maybe this was the cause?
  25. i have seen one like it in use also the setee with standard lamp they cause "double takes" every where but what happens if you hit anything very little protection could come from one bed and if your lucky end up in a hospital one if not a box i also saw in the seventies a m/cycle with a coffin as a sidecar ,saved on body bags i expect
