19.3 mirror Had a few 18/17's my aim for this season is a 23+ carp and variouse other fish.

Hmmmmm do you want to know ,wat the bigest fish we have caught on a river is?If so why isn't Barbel/Chub & Zanda there plus a few more or wat are fav fish is to catch on a river ,your post isn't very clear.

Don't think i got round to having the pleasure of meeting you Wordbender,but if you do ever get round to bringing a book out about the magic of fishing please put me down for a copy.

Great weekend ,loverly place indeed shame it's just under 300 miles and a 4.5 hr drive away.Weather could have been better on the Friday but on Saturday i thought conditions ware absolute brilliant.Anyways my catch was a 8.2 tench(pic to follow) and a 10.8 pike(caught on pineapple boilie ,pic to follow),lost 5 more pike on worm and even had a few going for my spod at one point,missed a great run at around 9:55pm Saturday night witch I'm still kicking my self over..Nice to meet everyone and thanks to Steve and co for there hospitality

Really looking fwd to this,will get all my gear ready on the Thursday evening.Hope i get a Tench or two but if not no big deal just looking fwd to fishing Wingham after hearing such good reports also looking fwd to meeting a few people of here.Last fish-in i was able to attend was Yateley about 5 years ago great weekend even though i blanked.

Very nice fish indeed,still yet to break my 20 barrier few at 18 but just cant get over 19lb1oz. Congrats,nice looking fish as well.

WATS everyone recommend(mono) for wagler fishing for fish around 2lb-6lb personally i use 3lb Maxima never had a problem ,all tho needs changing often. Apologies this was meant for the course forum :s,could someone move it please.

Depends on the time of year eary spring use "Jolly Green Giant's Niibbles" (double on the hook) in the heat of the summer any corn i can get my hands on .Don't think using the nibbles makes much differance but i feel more confidant in using it early on in the season allso seem to catch more.

Cracking fish,i caught my first double bream the other week witch weighed 10lb8oz and i thought that was huge i'd love to see a fish of this size.

15lb out od Lym Dam on sprat.

Spud judgeing by your post you seem to be a little new to fishing/novice ,witch there is nothing wrong in at all.I't may be worth your while getting a good book .Witch many on here would be able to recomend ,witch would teach you new things.Just a thought mate.

Disposable nappy bags,toilet roll and a bin is all that is needed.IMHO.One of my clubs had a bad problem on one water with people **** on pegs and path ways problem is solved now tho.

HaHa i was going to say the same thing . Yeah as far as i know Skimmers are Bream i used to think they ware just small Bream but read some ware not so long ago they are actually a different kind of Bream to there big Uncle's.

Yeah they have a simmilier thing with Lym Ac.Good idiea imho.
