A lot of bailiffs in Scotland would treat course anglers in a similar fashion for the same reason. Not true. What you want to ask for is a 'wires only' connection. there are loads of ISP's who will give you a wires only connection. All you buy from them is the ADSL. You need a BT line for most of them and you supply your own ADSL router. Attach the routeer to your PC by sticking an ethernet card into the PC and running a bit of CAT5 cable between the PC and the router.
