  3. only one reel needed ABU 7000 it will cast well as any other reel can be used on beach, heavy rock and on boats the only reel to have you can get them 2nd hand for about £50

  8. if it is stiky you could try nail varnish remover if only a small amount if there is a lot get some acitone that will cut throu it quick and cheep

  11. have a try at skipsea beach have a look at low tide for pools then fish them over hight water try a few short casts to the bottom of the slope Good baits fresh herring for flunders squid for thornback rays ( alborough ) black lug for codling crabs can be a prob this time of year if you can get any crabf for bait that will stop them and then you should catch a lot more fish i hane been told that there are some doggies been court there good luck

  13. i use a 14 foot my tip is top use it like a 12 or 13 footer i can do the pendlum, normal and back cast with mine but i mainly use the normal if you try the pendlum or back cast dropyour reel down near the bottom you get better control i still want to try a 16,18,or a 20 foot rod i think i could use them

Matchmen seam to me to be above the law they are aloud to get away with thing that the pleasure angler can’t They use keepnets where we can not WHY That are band from using bloodworm (it gives them an unfair advantage) WHY are we band from using it? You go to your top place to fish there is a match there they have the best pegs it will still cost you £5-£10 to fish on the bad pegs Carp on the match they put them in to the keepnets YOU DO NOT PUT CARP IN NETS so I was told Are they above the law

  22. you would be very luck to catch a chub in the river hull where you find the chub on the hull is all pirvert fishing ont of the best places to catch chubb near to Scarborough is on the River Seven at Normanby abour 5 miles friom pickering jafter about 6pm on a night when you see the river or should i say very small stream (so small you can step over it) it hat Chub to 5lb Barbel to 8lb Perch to 3lb it is well torth a try DD
