Well having looked around the net to find a decent price and being as i'm tight I finally settled for locally grown fotosound ( http://www.fotosounddirect.com ) it was £519.99 with the kit lense (18-55) or £495.99 if you order it from their website, I did'nt have the patience to wait any longer having my other camera die on me about a month ago was like having my arm chopped off nevermind the withdrawl symptoms, so I took the plunge into the realm of lenses (Eek), it was either the 30D or the 400D so I opted for the latter leaving me some free funds towards my first lens. I'ts a nice camera out of the box and the lens is ok if a bit chromatic at times so to speak but i'm sure it will really come to life once i've bolted on the 17-40 L (the missus is really going to love me) . Thanks for the heads up on warehouse express, as you know we're stuck for choice/prices over here when it comes to shopping for kit, I'm sure everyone thinks we're millionares lol, gotta look after the pennies byecry . Paul, I've been a regular visitor on your site for quite a while now, absolutley stunning work as usual you really bring Plemont to life in these, if I could take pictures half as well as you i'd be a very proud Bean . I tried last year to take very simler shot shots of that rock trying to get that "island within an island" thing but my camera was'nt able to close to the shutter speed and aperture needed to get that wisping/time lapse effect, but today I went and got myself a 400D all i got to do is get me some decent glass, those lenses of yours really are superb. Well a good day was had, well unless you were the Audi owner in the car park the weather held and we managed to get some fishing done. I really enjoyed meeting up with you both it was a good laugh, hopefully next time we can get some more join in. Grant was the top scorer both in amount and species with a mixed bag of Mackeral the size of Tuna, Horse mackeral a record breaking pollack and a snipe. Me and Somerset got a couple of mackeral a piece a snipe and a pollack, the boys fished the mackeral rocks while I was keeping an eye on the swell which seemed to come back up after the mornings six foot, but when I got back to the beach there were hardly any waves. It was good day guy's we will have to do it again, my round next Somerset .

Hi Simon, Starvin and the fleet, Anyone seen Bill (yakity yak) I see from the viewing profile that his last post was on the 16th of July, just he's dissapeared off radar and not long after selling his P15. I just wanted to say hi and see how he was keeping, a bit worrying really as there's been no signs of him. Any news/sightings would be gladly appreciated. Mark
