  3. The way things are going in the yorkshire area the main people affected will be charter boats whose target species are mainly COD. the commercial fleet being mainly doing standy work or fishing for prawns

  5. Any one who was netting whitby area wrecks in the late 80's will remember lots of double figure pollack being landed . As there is very little wreck netting done in the area now maybe they are building up in number. Maybe a benefit of reduced effort and decommisioning of boats

  25. Hi Holmsey How can they explain the situation with Amity and Fruitful Bough working within a stones throw of each other One fills up and the other starves to death on the same tow, How does a charter skipper explain no fish on a wreck or ground today when there was plenty yesterday??
