  2. Golliwogs are making a comeback despite the PC brigade. They are on sale all over the place now. I last saw them in a shop in North Yorks while convalesing a few months ago. My wife has made a small collection of them and we have a lovely fridge magnet of one too. Long live common sense
  3. Nice pitures there Judy, I always enjoy sitting watching locks working. My wife had to drag me away from the one at the end of Loch Ness or I'd have watched it all day.
  4. Daft as it sounds I've considered it, also Canada and the USA who are all short of drivers. I'm doing temporary work over here at £4.00 an hour less than the normal going rate.
  5. Fascinating pictures there
  6. Nice looking rig matey, any vacancies out there for an experianced driver? Just been made redundant and theres nowt over here at moment.
  7. I have friends who use Image shack, I don't trust it myself as it has a "thing" which causes pop ups to by pass the pop up blockers!! and clog with gambling pop ups. It just annoys me to have to keep deleting them but they swear by it.
  8. Such a shame, I wanted to be there too, but when I saw the time, Oh no. Be very differant without them now
  9. Just ran one through auto levels, clour and contrast to see if any differance for you. What do you think? Guess who didn't read page 3 before he replied LOL. I prefer the one the Boss did.
  10. Just seen this thread, Having done my Sons wedding I would say don't do it. If you make a mistake it can't be redone, they can't get married again. My outdoor shots were Ok but inside the register office, i didn't take notice of the big window behiond them and got the light wrong DUH! Thanks to Mr Wiggly and Steve randles, they re edited them for me, and Mr Wiggly taught me to edit my self, so things where saved. Really my friend all I'm saying is check, sheck, check again and take literally 100s. Good luck to you
  11. Welcome back, nice to see you up and about again
  12. It depends on the software you use, if your using photoshop then when you resize its in the same pop up box but its called resolution.
  13. Good news, glad to hear it. The sunshine at home will do him good.
  14. Chuffed to bits for you Susan, pleased to hear it. Please pass on my best regards and we'll "see" him soon.
  15. Nice to know he's on the mend
  16. Nice to have updates, hope he is up and about soon. My family and I are are thinking of him.
  17. Hello Susan, I exchanged a few PMs with Danny so had an idea what was wrong. Please give him my best and tell him if theres anything I can do to help on here he just has to ask. I'd offer to help him there but Cornwall is a little far now you've moved. I owe him a few favours. Really hope he's better soon.
  18. Friend of mine and his daughter looked after a hurt one, the owners name and phone number was stamped under the wing, he rang and guy told him to ring its neck because if it ever returned home he would, as he could no long race it once it was "spoilt". Charming guy. Apparantly once they have stopped and fed somewhere they will stop again if passing? this makes them no good as racers. My friends daughter was heartbroken when it flew off some weeks later, he never told her of the phone call. I can't say I like Pigeons myself but some people just shouldn't be allowed to keep anything. If she keeps feeding it, it just may stay around for her. (Thats the sum total of my knowledge of Pigeons) LOL
  19. Now thats one nice truck, I'd like to have a look around that Can't imagine my boss buying it for me though
  20. I don't know what software you use so hard to help,..............howevr I've resized it on mine without any pixelation problems Ok. If you PM me your e mail add I'll send it you in the largest file size I can send if thats any help to you.
