  1. Well i thought the background looke a bit grim for a sinking cruise ship, so i added the view from across the river
  2. poor Piggie !!! he would be the laughing stock of all his little pig mates !!!! with all those legs...... So thats what i did, using the lasso tool i cut round the pig that was sitting down, then pasted it into a new working area, then cut round the jaw bone using the same tool and copied that to a new working area, deleted the one that was highlighted and added the image of the jaw bone into the picture, then using the transform option i rotated the image untill it looked correct, did the same with the legs, then locked all the layers and pasted into the original image.
  3. lets be honest, he was proberbly trying to provoke the fish to show how it reacts, so he got what he deserved, sorry but he lost my respect when he had is son in his arms feeding a crock, all it needed was a trip.
  4. what a great picture .... I really like pigs :-)
  5. Jaybee, You have had comments frm many members asking you to stay etc etc, and one or two with a negative reaction, but at the end of the day it is your call, you either stay or go, if you are going then do it ! if you are staying then dont worry about what others are thinking they soon get tired, its your call and no one elses END OFF.
  6. best if i drop out this one people - sorry just too much going on :-(
  7. yes i can see it now, will get to edit it later today had a busy few days with the shop and a few other things (good mate died all of a sudden) Chris
  8. Steve i am no seeing your picture
  9. I had the same problem a few months ago John, i found the 10lb sledge hammer solved all the problems the stupid bit of junk had very fast, then Staples for a new one :-) and did i feel good !!
  10. can i come can i come can i come Plllleeeeeeeeaaasssseeeeee :-)
  11. i agree John, i am a noddy at taking pics, but will still enter if i think they suit the bill, however if i ever had to give an explanation of why i picked what pic then i would be lost to tell the truth, keep it simple and within grasp of the likes of me, i work 7 days a week and dont have the time to look for that "shot" to enter every comp, i take my hat off to those that spend the time in doing so and having the "eye" for a good picture, but after all it is supposed to be fun isnt it.
  12. it was a very very sad story here on Merseyside when it happened, i was working in a hotel at the time that police from around the country were staying at as they were helping with the inquiry, i dont think the 2 lads will remain "unknown" for long though whatever country they end up in.
  13. all well and good if the appointment actually arrives to the person, i have had a problem with my post since the regular postie left and since then we have had temps, my son was waiting for an operation that we had been told would happen pretty soon, if i had not have phoned up to check etc then we would not have even known about it, they say the letter went out but we never got it, also happened the other week for an appointment for me so is it the postie or the service itself ?
  14. the pub is my home TB , well after work anyway for an hour or so, however do see what you are saying, how about we all just do 1 edit in the next picture and see what happens
  15. Quick edit on this one.... using a picture of a pub door i turned the building in the right foreground into a pub, after all you need a pub in a village dont you !, also added a sign for the travellers in the area , then using the clone tool i cloned the leaves from the tree in the foreground to the trees in the background to make it have a more summer feel.
  16. No offence meant here, but i think we should really stay in order of the list as the next person on the list may well be working on the edit and may have spent a fair bit of time doing so, only to have to start again as the picture has changed.
  17. Tick Tick Tick myself - good photo
  18. i just added a simple effect ( Lense Flare)as there had been so much added to the picture that we all had thought about, the lighthouse and neptune had been my ideas Here is how i did it. saved the original picture and then selected "Filter" from the top tool bar then down to "render" then across to "lens flare" Move the cross hare to the area that you want the lense flare to be and then click ok, view the picture and if it is in the area that you want and it has the look you want then all is fine, however if you need to change the area then a simple control to step backwards and remove the effect is holding down Ctrl and pressing Z this will move you back one action. Hope this explains Chris
  19. not seeing any of your photo's Jaybee
