  1. Thanks for the replies guy's,i've had the more expensive multi piece rods that imo are very good, but i'm wanting something that I won't mind getting knocked about during travel or on the bank and some cheap but half decent tele's would fit the job I think. Cheers Daz
  2. I'm a non driver so getting out and about with 2 piece rods isn't easy,that's why i've been looking at a couple of good brand named tele's,a Daiwa samurai tele carp and the Wychwood Rogue tele carp,does anyone know what these rods are like? thanks in advance Daz
  3. You want one of these fella! http://www.aerobed.co.uk/pages/rangedetail...p;range=Outdoor http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/part...t%3EAEROBED.htm
  4. For your Silt problem,you could try Micro-chalk,this is what our syndicate uses to deal with it and very effective it is too!
  5. What scares you when night fishing? The Bogey man!!! lol
  6. AN is a good forum but there are better one's!
  7. Cheers for the replies fella's Can anyone recommend this set from Nash for £100 http://www.climaxtackle.com/nash/bite_alarms.htm
  8. I'm looking at the Radio set for £80, anyone know if these Alarms are any good? http://www.climaxtackle.com/sundridge/optonic_bite_alarm.htm
  9. A couple of people i know have fished it and they loved it! Mostly small fish caught but a few were over 20+ They said the place had a wonderful atmosphere and that when it came time to leave it was difficult to do due to the effect Redmire seems to cast over you. I wonder how many last casts or how many 'just a few more minutes' people have when fishing Redmire!
  10. Trakker A-Lite excellent bit of kit! {2008 Editor's Note - please click here to view bivvies for sale}
  11. Grey's prodigy is a very good rod with a Lifetime guarantee but you could also go for the TFG Whisper RRP £99.99 but currently on offer at £49.99 with a Lifetime guarantee or the Chub Outkast at £59.99 with a Lifetime guarantee. All very good rods mate but as with everything in life the choice is yours!
  12. I have no clue about using a marker but isn't using a mono leader defeating the object of using braid? Presumably you use braid because it gives better indication than mono and so using a mono leader is going to reduce that isn't it?
  13. Does anyone own one of these and have the instructions they could scan and send me please I've just bought one second hand but these were not included unfortunately. Cheers in advance
  14. How about a TFG Force 8 Bivvy as it can be put up in 20 seconds with practice and has an integral groundsheet! I've been told by owners of them that they have found no problems when using them in gale force winds!(very sturdy)
