hi darlick ive often thought ,,if shops that sold tackle /bait ect handed out a small fact sheet with basic guide lines for the novice , like min sizes ect ,,,with every purchace ,,, it might help to stop things like this and would cost pence ,,,,,,,the cure is mostly in the prevention,,,,,,,cheers ,,,,,,,,,lucky rich ,,,,,,,,

try the sea fishing travel tubes there dear at 80 quid but hold loads without reals though ,

well at least you use your boat to go out to sea ,,,,,,,,as a shore angler ime limited to 150yds max any were i go ,,,,,,,i get realy anoyed when i get to a spot & theres gill nets or boats operating close in , ive even seen charter boats within casting range (to a good bloke anyway),,,,,,i think that situation realy anoyes loads of us ,,,if it wernt for days like that then most of us would respect the boats , coz we have all got to live,,,,,pp lucky rich,

the secret for me is a cold smoker bit like a thin tall dustbin ,,,then you cook the fish as normal after wards ,,,,ive done pollack & makeral this way ,,,,,,,,,v ery nice

trying to help our cause must be a very frustrating job ide love to av a go at it ,, with all the waste i see every week from gill netters ect ,, 800 yds of net 100yds out full of dead bass of all sizes obviously nothing goes back , reported them with the boat id ,, to be told there doing nout wrong but we will check it out ,,,,,,,, rich

hi simon ,, iknow ime not from your area , so i dont know what conditions your fishing in but if its not to harsh get your self one of the new long rods & practice just chucking it over your head i done it 2 years ago ,,,, never looked back ,,,,,

hi ziggy thanks for the welcome ,, i started fishing again 4 years ago ,& stoped matches very quickly , i couldend belive the waste just to win a chocky orange or sumit,,, i try & unhook the non shaker offers with a very wet rag ,,,,, the sets off feathers should only come with barbless hooks ,,,,think of the challenge ,,,any way i still try spinning .....one at a time is more fun any way ,,,,,,looks like all you guys seem to have the rubbish prob,, you wana see bournemouth area after a warm sat evening,,,,,,,,,,
