Download a free utility named CCleaner. This link is a good one to use.

http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

It gives you one button click to clear all cookies, temp files, and other assorted trash.

It is easy to set the few cookies you want to retain (AnglersNet for instance) so they are skipped.

If you run it once a week, your PC will behave much better. If you surf as much as I do, once a day is good. Just click to clean, wait until it finishes (seconds with Vista to maybe a minute or three with XP) and the deed is done.

It also has one button click to scan your registry for dead entries and remove them. CCleaner is not the most thorough reg cleaner available but it is by far the safest. It never removes stuff it should not.

Big fan of CCleaner over here too.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

Think Steve Yahoo has it's OWN settings! But I use CC and it goes well with Firefox! And incidentally Pangolin if you DO use Firefox you CAN delete all the cookies every time you close the browser!! In fact you can get rid of ANY traces including all your passwords!!! And I know I WAS that man!!! around 150 sites ALL saved and then ALL gone in a click!!!

But certainly CCleaner is OK and then Firefox as I say set it up yourself and LESS prone to nasty attacks!

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

I've never understood why some folks get so uptight over something as benign as a simple cookie. There are much more important things to worry about than cookies.
