Besides the cod won't know the difference.

And there was me thinking the target species was MACKEREL with the odd Bass as a bonus, or was that another topic :confused: :confused:

By the same token pirks wouldnt be my first choice for mackerel or bass.

Why chrome?

1/2ins - 3/4ins stainless bar cut at 60 degrees, drilled at both ends for the split rings will make a lovely wobbly pirk for casting?

Can`t find small lengths of stainless bar?

No problem :)

Funny you should say about pirks not being first choice for Bass, they seem to be the first and second choice over here.

Fixed spool reel, braid and a light rod, drop down to the wreck and wind up 20 turns then back down again. We don't have the reefs here and no one fishes the drop off's on sand banks, yet
