GowerRay I don't mind there is a shortage of UK sea fishing video clips, yet its very simple to download to the knowitall site and its free. You surrender any copy write to them, but I'm not going to make money from those clips so its good to share. I use windows movie maker to edit the clips so as they are under 2mins long and the file size is no greater than 4mb, If you register on the site there are a couple of videos they have made that explain simlpy how to do it, be good to see what the fishing is like on the Gower.

Norrie the rod is a Ron Thompson Uptide 9ft 6" ,4-10oz rod with a Okuma Classic 30L multiplier with level wind and my rod was a ugly stick with penn reel.

What would happen if you caught a 80 lb tope when fishing in a yak I could imagine you would be towed quite some distance. One of the small tope we caught came under the boat and hit the hull with its tail with a hell of a bang would not have liked to be in a yak then.

errrm isnt this just blatent advertising ,i think you should level the field by posting links to all other boats in the UK and abroad and at your cost video them as well

Sorry Chesters1 what am I advertising? It would be nice to see other peoples videos on fishing I have no connection with knowitallvideos other than I used their site to share the video clips of seafishing which I was led to believe this forum is about.

your prowess in fishing ofcourse,i was hoping youd take a turn on the southern boats and post the vids ,judging by this i could actually get a decent trip one skipper a few years ago actually grounded on the sandbank on the way out (littlehampton i think) got in a mood went out a couple of miles and promptly anchored and went to sleep in his cabin all day :mad:

despite please he refused to move untill it was the alloted time to go home ,we caught nowt
