We booked Mike umpteen times over a number of years. Never let us down ,often stayed out later if fishing was good , took out reduced parties at reduced rates midweek.

Are you sure you have the right guy Macky. It sounds like somebody infamous who is based a little further North and who let us down twice out of 2 attempts !!!

A bad days fishing is better than a good day at the office. Tight lines all.

Depends which criteria you use to rate a skipper.

Mike Watson knows his boat, his area, his tides, the fish species and seasons, he has full DOT equipment on board, he knows exactly how to use it, he is friendly, gives who knows whow many cups of tea, his boat is slow but a damned good fishing platform, he is ALWAYS there on time in fact usually an hour or so before the anglers, cleaning, fueling and servicing the boat. What more do you want ???? Oh fish, of course, sorry that`s up to you, he puts you on them, from macks, to pollack, to tope to conger and most others you ask for in between. (pouts, gurnard, rays, plaice etc etc)
