Pod Upgrade

I have the X-pod plus and will soon be looking to upgrade. I have been thinking of the Quattro pod for some time but don't know whether it's the best bet. Any personal faves that you would reccommend?

Dazler has got the Quattro Pod & I must say It's not only a nice looking piece of kit, I'm impressed with how stable it is. I know Daz is very pleased with it.

 

But, tell me Tbone, I'm not familiar with the X-Pod Plus, why is it you're looking to upgrade?

Im not in desperate need, as the xpod is an amazing piece of kit. The reason i'm looking to upgrade because it takes ages to set up and on unlevel ground is sometimes hard to set up right.

the two reasons you give there are exactly why i got rid of my xpod, i thought it was an awful design. i just use banksticks now

If u must change the Quattro is a mean piece of kit takes about 40 sec's to set up

 

Might take a bit longer to get one though they are like rocking horse s**t lately

I use banksticks now too. Much prefer them, and too be honest I think they look better.

 

Although, will use my pod when the peg is gravel, or I'm unable to get banksticks into the ground

I have got the Fox Quattro 4 Rod Pod from a old work mate and got it very cheap indeed (£15) and used it most of the time when carp fishing

Does anyone know if the quattro is easily set up on uneven ground?
