taking fish.

Recommended Posts

Could anyone tell me If its against the law to kill a coarse fish for the pot..........I have recently taken a book out of my local library, and it is full of recipes for cooking all kinds of fish. I have always been a believer in catch and release, but I am also very fond of fish dishes and would like to try some of these recipes.......Any information would be appreciated.

depends on your local club rules for the water you're fishing.

chub, pike and perch are worth eating, the others, don't bother. if you have access to a smoker, smoked chub is truly wonderful

What about Gudgeon? They're supposed to fry up quite nicely.

Also I think it's China they eat a lot of Bream, personally I don't condone killing wild fish, weather it be corse or game.
