Such a shame it's going to be Easter and not after June 16th.

For in-season trips, you could always visit here.

There are a few head bangers (arn't there always !) but there's plenty to keep people entertained, a pub with decent cider and the river is right there.

Species caught in 2020: Barbel. European Eel. Bleak. Perch. Pike.

Species caught in 2019: Pike. Bream. Tench. Chub. Common Carp. European Eel. Barbel. Bleak. Dace.

Species caught in 2018: Perch. Bream. Rainbow Trout. Brown Trout. Chub. Roach. Carp. European Eel.

Species caught in 2017: Siamese carp. Striped catfish. Rohu. Mekong catfish. Amazon red tail catfish. Arapaima. Black Minnow Shark. Perch. Chub. Brown Trout. Pike. Bream. Roach. Rudd. Bleak. Common Carp.

A few headbangers....Thats the understatement of the century! :D The last time I went the rule was the pub would shut when the last person fell down!!! :D :D

Thanks for the link 1superken. Claylands looks absolutely perfect, and it's only half an hour's drive away.

Unfortunately they are fully booked for the Easter weekend! The guy I spoke to was incredibly friendly, so we're booking for later in the year.

Does anyone have any other suggestions? It must have fishing on site, as I don't drive. I'll be sneaking out of the tent early and leaving my friends to sleep, then fishing again in the evening whilst they cook dinner!

I'm not looking for anything major, fishing wise - a working farm with a pond would do, or anything canalside.

I'm currently searching on UK Campsites, but I have limited time at the moment!
