erm u got the same maggots twice there Nugg.

Ive caught carp on kebab meat from a doner, full of chile sauce because i ran out of bait.

And ive caught them on pasta from a vindaloo, does that mean spicy is good.

The water was quite coloured the next day, although there had been no rain at all. :D

I cant see why weetabix wont work.

Most PELLETS have some form of wheat in them as it is a cheap bulking agent.

The pellets I have at home (50kg of them in two sizes, 4mm and 8.5mm) have 60% wheat glueten.

also stewed wheat is a very underused killer bait in the summer.

Different floats for different folks!

I took some burgers with me one day, and one of those disposable barbecues (arent they great). Like a pig, i cooked up all the burgers, and couldnt eat them all. Once the leftovers had cooled, i cut them up, hair rigged a piece, and put the rest in a PVA bag. Within seconds (less than 30), i had hooked into a 10lb carp.

I also had some rolls left, so you know how it is, waste not want not, i got the old float controller out and hooked up a big piece of floating crust, sesame seeds and all, and only went and had me another.
