Try and listen to Dick Gaughens A handfull of Earth. The workers song is stunning, he can play his guitar a bit as well!

If you want to hear something that will really do your head in, try to find an instramental acoustic track called A Connecticut Yankee at the Court of King Arthur, by the California Guitar Trio. In spite of the name it's actually one of Robert Fripp's little pet projects, but it's such a loopy tune that it never fails to make me laugh. Just try to work out how the hell they played it though.

One of the classiest acoustic tracks ever, (and doing a Springsteen track better than him ain't easy) is "Dancing in the dark" by

Mary Chapin Carpenter. AFAIK only available as a track on a CD Single "Almost Home".
