Maybe the weasley little git should come to Whitby angling festival where we could use him as bait. Im sure his expenses or second job would cover it.

Can you enlighten me why you concider salter to be a weasley etc... all the time i have seen and read his comments when discussing angling issues he appears to know what he is talking about , in particular an mp who actually fishes, now that is a rare breed. Do you have some dirt on him that is not in the public domain.

Shame he is standing down as a mp in the next election. It is not due to 'i have broken no rules debarcle' nor it is due to any expences arguments as he is again one of the very rare mp's who do not claim exes for second home allowance as he chooses to commute from his constituancy in reading upto london.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

He also pressed the Fisheries Minister to make a statement that angling would be allowed in Marine Conservation Zones and is backing the idea that mullet be declared a recreational fish. Those are both things I think he should be praised for. Pity there aren't more "real people" like him in Parliament.

 He will be greatly missed, a true friend of the recreational angler if ever there was one.

Don't know what he will be doing once he leaves parliament, just bet it will still have something to do with angling.

A copy of his latest contribution, i don't read anything weasley towards anglers in it.

Martin Salter said:-

“The Marine Bill is of huge significance for all aspects of angling. Fresh water anglers will benefit from the overhaul of our outdated fishery by-laws and sea anglers will see strict limits placed on the commercial exploitation of our in-shore waters. This should see sea fish stocks refreshed and regenerated and, in the longer term, much improved sport for salt water fishermen. However, it was important to secure an assurance that sea anglers would not be excluded along with commercial fishermen from the new Marine Conservation Zones. In fact, the Minister went further and agreed with me that sea anglers have an important role to play in helping to enforce the MCZs and to protect their integrity.”

Hes like Leon Roskilly, when he wants you all to sit up and listen he rolls out a picture of the only time he ever went fishing in the past 10 years, and you all fall over yourself to say what a great bloke he is. You lot want your heads looking at. The bloke is from a land locked area, all he knows about fishing is what Leon Roskilly feeds him, which cant be much given that he knows jack squat too. Whats he know about lifelong cultures of sea side towns ?? Whats he know about collecting bait (Other than mothers pride off the shelf in Sainsburies). The sooner hes gone the better. Roskilly and Morton who are an even bigger threat to sea fishing in this country, nead to walk the plank too.

 Dave and Leon have spent time and money on promoting shark fishing from Whitby which has been an earner for the boats and town if I hear it right, why do they need to walk the plank?

Strange how so many of your postings get personal like this.

It's almost as if you think those of use who aren't related to charter boat skippers have no right to express our opinions.
