I'd be up for a trip sometime. Would a barbel tow the boat?

It might if it's got hordes of slavering otters chasing it :P

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!

Yes i have had the boat towed off the anchors in the weir pools by very fit river Pike so would think that the Barbel would be able to move it easily, mind you i only use light anchors with just enough weight and chain to hold bottom as the pools are very snaggy and an anchor graveyard ,also it helps that you can retrieve them quickly if you need to ie special fish that you don't want to get wrapped round the Anchor rope scenario and sometimes you need to leave in a hurry for eg when those Rabid Otters have eaten all the fish and are then looking for a new food source and you may be it :o esp if the outboard does not fire first time be afraid be very afraid steve.

We are not putting it back it is a lump now put that curry down and go and get the scales

have I told you abouit the cruise control on my Volvo ,,,,,,,bla bla bla Barder rod has it come yet?? and don`t even start me on Chris Lythe :bleh::icecream:
