Hi!! My name is Mr Sponge and I'm looking for a new avatar as I only just joined this fine body of fisher people!! My bestest mate let me log on with his ID but I really must register and look for an avatar!! Now I wonder if there are any I could choose....................?

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

I have fished Ca. 20 fishing meets arranged with a few forums, i do not join a clique as

this will eventualy alianate you.

More often than not, these clique's collapse.

So my advise is 'don't go there'

PS..The best meet was me in Suffolk & a diamond gezzer from Nebraska, found each other on the

tinternet, we had the best days fishing EVER.

Now we are on each other Xmas card list.

Neep.. the "clique" Winter is referring to was allegedly on the Sea Angling forum long before they knew the existence of a place called Scrabster

 

It's membership consists of everyone on the Sea Forum with the exception of Winter :)

Karina the clique was started even before I joined, it was a joke that some seemed to take seriously and took offence at, all in all it is an imaginary clique that has no0thing to do with Scrabster or Skate fishing.

Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

In fact, I dont think it has anything to do with fishing at all.... :D

OK Norrie.. emergency AGM arranged for the 26th March @ 8.00pm in the Weigh Inn.. all members of the non existent Clique will be in attendance
