I have mixed feelings about all this. I don't know Ron, never met the guy, he's football but he's nothing to do with Norwich! But if the player in question had been white, with red hair, and Ron had said 'red minged honkey' then I doubt that there would have been much fuss. But call a black man black and all hell lets loose! Okay, so he was called a nigger. But nigger is derived from the Latin word Negre, meaning black. Perhaps I'm missing something here. All races have slang terms applied to them, so what?

Well, when I posted the Big Ron piccy it was meant as a joke, not as the catalyst for a debate about what he said (which was bang out of order - but he's lost 2 jobs as a result so hopefully he will have learnt his lesson!) anyhow, as I said, it was just a joke - like this: -
