I'll have a pop. :)

I think the uk need to work on replacing it's gold reserves then the mp's can go about with their strutting on the world stage. It won't be brown though.

education education, no that one didn't work.

tough on crime, tough on the causes of crime, no that one failed as well.

immigration, 70 mill population in our lifetime, even the labour mp's are getting edgy on that one.

Quangos, hopefully with a new admin they will be trimmed massively.

How come we are still in recession helped by the non-action of a quango called the fsa, low interest rates, yet all of our commodities gas, lecky, deisel, petrol is going up, up up in cost.

We have such a healthy social system that the likes of a certain mr choudhry who wants his mates to visit Wotten Basset, can sit at home collecting 25k per year for the priviledge of, He got his education in a university btw.

Record public sector borrowing, the uk is shortly going to loose it's imf credit status, any suggestions.

vote labour you know it makes sence. :P

How come we had a world recession in the first place Barry? Are you going to blame socialism for that? Capitalism went mad, greed overran commonsense. Capitalist gurus fed there puppet president promises of wealth and happiness. Unfortunately that president believed them, why shouldn’t he. They put up the billions of dollars to put him in the oval office.

Let’s hope that Americas new president has the vision and ability to not let this capitalist disaster that has brought this country with many others to the point of monetary meltdown.

Glad to see that he has made a good start by introducing a national health service in America. Another great socialist achievement for the working man.

Regards and is it still snowing down your way Barry? You can blame that on labour if you want, it’s about as believable as the rest of your quotes.

Regards again comrade. :P:P

Hello Challenge

The global recession is a totally separate issue and happens every so many years no matter what government is in place.

The national dept is Gordon browns fault and nobody else, he inherited a very healthy economy from the Conservatives and blew it and we are going to have to pay for it.

Take Maggie’s advice " you can't spend more than you earn" even Tony Blair realised this in the end and was off like a rat leaving a sinking ship.

O come on now wurzel. Yes we have had global recession in the past, but this global recession is why this country has such a big national dept. we have such a massive national dept simply because capitalism failed big style. Greed and corruption flowed over the Atlantic. America’s greed and bad management cascaded through the worlds economy’s like the plague that it was. The Americans where the first to say that if Gordon brown had not bailed the banks out when he did, then the whole of Europe would of folded. The Germans the French Italians and Spanish all lost there bottle. Gordon brown didn’t. If he hadn’t things would have been a lot much worse today than they actually are. The president of the United States words wurzel, not mine.

As I have mentioned before wurzel, the wasted windfall that Margret Thatcher inherited from the previous labour government meant that when Thatcher got in north sea oil revenue had just started rolling in to the chancellors pocket, Thatcher had a massive windfall from oil revenue, it helped her put millions on the dole and cripple whole communities and gave her the money to give away the national treasures through privatisation.

So what did you ever think of Ted heath then wurzel? Remember the man who said “it’s better to loose an industry than to loose a treaty” when asked why he signed up to the CFP when strongly advised not to by his ministers and fisheries advisors when Europe demanded that he would have too at the twelfth hour.

Regards.

Evenin Challenge, :D

Unelected brown made a speech saying that the uk was in the best position to ride out this recession, what did he mean by that.

What about this dept he had set up what are they supposed to do? That was set up a while before our banks run out of money on paper. Didn't their experts suss out something wasn't right?

A quango called the fsa.

Do you think our crime and education stats are ok then?

The fsa bosses no doubt will be collecting their bonuses this year along with the guys who are protecting our borders.

Do you think darling was right to save northen rock, thats the co that stupidly put all the eggs in one basket.

Who do you think should be the next premier?

Where have all our assets gone to? where has all our pension money gone to? This was spent before the recession. Why are we paying record amounts into the eu black hole when our fishing and agriculture industries are pants? Do you think brown will give up our pound to the euro, seeing that it is now worthless?

B)

Correct me if i'm wrong please do, the french changed their minds regarding the uk in joining as they where concerned that the germans where getting a bit more powerfull than them. So we really joined under false pretences.

What do you recon about a referendum.

err this is the right topic? :)

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Now then Challenge I can see that you are well entrenched in your political views and that few arguments would ever change your views, but if labour gets back into power no doubt your jobs will be secure and good luck to you.

However the very thought of Gordon and his mob in power for another term is enough to make most of us suicidal. I will be hard to find a true Englishman in the country, and I can only feel sorry for my kids and everyone elses, having to pay for the man's insane spending programmes for most of the remained of their lives. Why was the idiot commiting us to massive expenditure at the climate change summit? Why are we trying to lead the world on some totally unproven science regarding global warming, based on a snapshot of data in geological timescale of this planet.

It is definitely time for regime change

If this mob gets in again this year, I'm off. Another 5 years of their incompetence will see this country in total melt down. We're almost there now. Great Britain brought to it's knees by one week of cold weather!

If I go, I'll make sure I choose somewhere nice and warm.

Wurzel and Barry, I don’t know if you have noticed or not but this country has been at war for the last ten years or so, progressively more so in the past 4 years. This government has introduced more funding than ever before to a health service criminally run down by the party you want to re elect. Miners and trawler men have finally bean paid out money when previous governments pretended that they weren’t even there.

If we have got some national dept because we have more choice in education a better welfare state and health service all this while being at war and trying to clean up capitalisms major failure that has almost folded the worlds banking systems. Then I don’t think where doing badly.

As for immigration, well I have always believed that this country is great because of immigration not despite of it.

Regards.

Yes and if the cut back Tories get in the country will grind to a halt every time there is half a days snow.

Grit?? You’re having a laugh salt on the roads???? Can’t they use ash??

Cold weather payments for old age pensioners get out of it. Free bus passes for those who are too old to drive in the snow??? Don’t be silly.

Yea you get yourself away Steve, go and join the hundreds of thousands of other ex pats who say they hate Britain while soaking up the sun in Spain but still collecting there state pension every week. Have fun Steve keep yourself unselfishly warm.

Having read this thread, one could be forgiven for thinking that people are talking about a parallel universe, and Labour had not enjoyed three successive terms.

Privatised utilities now reap more in tax than ever were the 'profits' of said utilities when under typically inefficient state control.

Shareholdings in those obscene profits, as some would put it, prop up many an average Joe's pension fund in the private sector. Pensions funds that have been robbed by this Government, whilst making those of state employees obscenely generous by comparison.

It's about time we had a Tory Government to trim the fat........ again.

I can't wait to see Cameron + his cronies swinging the axe........with any luck, unemployment will reach ten million.

I'd rather be forced to pay some left wing stuffed shirt £50 dole than the exorbitant wages (and pensions) they enjoy in their non jobs at present.

As regards the EU, the Tories started the ball rolling with a free trade agreement.........................did they refuse the electorate a referendum on the Lisbon treaty?

Labour make a total mess of things every time, and thankfully, this thread is completely academic. Their goose is well and truly cooked.
