best bite alarms your views

any one care to help me out i need a good pair of buzzers totally confused delkims ,fox,any others help its giving me an headache

I have used Delkims for several years and basically have had no problems.

i just use one that cost about £15 from argos.

if the line moves slightly it bleeps what more could you want?i cannot see the point paying out £80+ for something that just does the same?

Look at the Fox range then Krakemarsh! You could get cheeper, but will they work when the rain pours - from my experience - NO!

Gotta disagee here. Some of the cheapies may be suspect but friends and I use Good Fishing alarms. Ultra reliable, made in England and a first rate back up service in the rare instances of them going wrong. In fact they make only alarms. What's more they're very good value for money as the manufacturers sell direct to retailers. Anyone interested can e-mail me for more info.

Have a look at the Fox ST's.Not too expensive,reliable,(look good,if you are that way inclined),work when wet,and above all they bleep,very loudly.....

Totally agree with that Peter

 

Don't like bite alarms & don't agree with their use especially at night cos IMO if you're asleep in your bivvy then you're rods are unattended & thats against the law.
