Ajay,

quite right it is an AC Cobra 427, unfortunately not a real one but a replica.

Steve,

Jaguar running gear and gearbox, sb chevy v8 power-roughly 450bhp. I did have a budget but blew that out the window a long time ago. As for man hours, I have no idea as I hammer it sometimes, then do nothing for weeks or do a bit here and there. I have only been on it for 11 months and was hoping to have it on the road by now, I am a lazy git though.

Seph well done as most start these things and then give up after a short while and nagging from the other half to have the garage back  ,Always fancied it myself but no room/time or ability if it comes to that .

Post a few pics when she is finished and some of the build in progress would be cool as well ,Used to go to Kit car shows as a mate was into it and always thought that the Cobra esp looks best slowly inching its way through the crowd with the V8 burbling away on its way to the ring ,Mind you looks fairly good blasting along a good A road to .

Looking forward to a few pics when she is ready Steve.

Paul,

I'd love to see that beast when it's on the road! :)

Forget the pics Steve, I'm looking forward to the keys when she's ready.

Details please Seph, where did the engine come from and which kit is it? I took a great interest in kit cars a while back but just never had the facilities to build one....so I bought a '76 Trans Am 455 instead, jolly good fun it was too.

It's never a 'six', let's put it back

Just to confirm, the picture is not of my actual car but of something mine will hopefully closely resemble. I have tried to put some more pictures up but cannot get them to upload.

Kit was from these people

Engine was built by Mike Huddart, had it runnig and with the sidepipes on it sounds awesome although loud with it echoing off the garage walls.
