Nice one Dave, a new PB. :D

A motherless minnow? I wonder if all the daddy fish have joined 'Fathers For Justice'.

John.

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

As an invasive alien species did you smash it on the head?

Well, the EA say it is illegal to put them back. Lynch mobs are out to enforce that view.

OTOH there are (different) lynch mobs out for anyone daring to kill a fish - any fish.

So what did I do ?

1. I did what I thought was right

2. I gave a metaphorical bidigital derogatory gesture to those that might tell me what I should have done.

3. I fled the country.

I am now posting from the sanctuary afforded by the Diocese of Sodor and Mann, and will return when the hue and cry has died down

On past showing that should take about a week

How many freshwater UK species left now, Vagabond? Can't be many, surely?

I don't think Dave need worry about that just yet Andrew, someone is sure to keep adding to the species list.

John.

I know there is one or two long standing native species still on the hit list as I've been told to brush up on my rowing for the end of May and another attempt for an English Char. I maybe better train harder this year as i may need to rescue him from the middle of the Irish sea first if that volcano blows again.

And didn't them Grass carp elude him last year?

Funny I am struggling to think of 100 British fish species.
