Percy's Fishing Tackle

Here's a challenge for you.....

 

At the weekend, one of the cars I saw racing was sponsored by Percy's Fishing Tackle. I meant to take a photo of it, but never got round to it.

 

I thought it was a 2ltr Hotrod, but can't find it here. (If you look at the bottom right picture of car 304 on that page, that's me just above the roof in a white top, shorts and Cameroon football cap! LOL)

 

So, it may have been a Stock Rod or even a Stock Car (I watched a lot of races this weekend!) - does anyone know? Maybe a customer of theirs can help.

Percys fishing tackle is at the bottom of the High street in Lewes, East Sussex, been there a few times, he also does hunting gear, dunno what the link with car racing is though.

It is the only Percy's Tackle I know of and of course locally we have Arlington Speedway so locally to us guys there could be plenty of coverage for the sponsor if that is the case

I did a search and that's the only shop I came up with, although they don't appear to have a website.

 

Next time I see the car (I've seen it before), I'll take a photo. It'll be nice to add it here, as it's a combination of two things I enjoy
