why are everyone in newspapers "shocked" sometimes combined with "stunned" for effect?

why are girls often referred to as busty if well known and any woman with kids a "mother of two*" (insert number of kids) or grandmother of ? but it never mentioned with blokes,why does the number or even the knowledge a woman has had kids any relevance to stories!

further to earlier. i had an idea last night! maybe Dappy could be used as some kind of fish finding device simply by holding him by his ankles and dipping his head in the water. he's only about 3'2'' without his two foot bobble hat, so i should think this would be no bother at all!
