The difference between carpers and pikers.

Woodzzz, spot on mate! Change the word 'carp' for 'pike' and you'd still be spot on. But maybe, like with carpers, there may not be so many 'real' pikers out here!

 

As for the smell, you can't beat the good old reek of rancid smelt or mackerel oil, it gets literally everywhere and it clings like a leech!

In the spring/summer i is fishing mainly for carpsis, in the winter (brr cold freezing, shivering me carrots off & wondering when the frontal lobotomy will be booked for) i is fishing for the Peduncles & fun tis to.

 

So if i's fishing for carpsis in sumner timey n Peduncles in winter timey what kind of angler is i?
