There certainly are, they can be tricky to find at times, but where there's one, there's many!

 

Good luck with them and anything over a pound is a cracking fish.

Hereford

 

I don't know where you are but i'll guess and say Hereford. If that's the case the Avon is full of Zander especially aroud Evesham. Also Coombe Abbey near Coventry has a good head of zeds that go to over 17lb. If your interested in having ago let me know i will be more than willing to help you. Anyway the fish i'd like to catch is a Grayling on the stick and centre pin, but there is no where in the mids I know of that holds them.

A wild Brownie from a remote Lakeland Tarn that I had to hike to. I meant to do just that this season just ended but never got around to it....How did my Missus manage to convince me that having another Sprog was a good idea..
